Our History

Lakeside Christian Centre was founded by Dr.Rondo Thomas in 1983, with a vision to provide a community church serving the whole family. Our first home was in Scarborough under the name of Toronto Christian Centre. We moved our location in 1996 to the campus of Canada Christian College at 50 Gervais Drive where we spent 17 years. In August of 2018, Canada Christian College relocated to Whitby and the church moved along with it. Our name has been changed to Lakeside Christian Centre to reflect the new location on the shores of Lake Ontario, but our mission has remained the same: to provide a church for the whole family.
